Our Review of the Suunto GPS POD
The Suunto GPS POD is the most sought after addition to the growing line Suunto's athletic performance enhancing watches and peripherals. The GPS POD uses Global
Positioning System technology to track and send real-time speed and distance data to your Suunto wrist top computer. This elegant "one button - one mode" POD is ideal for all outdoor athletes who want a constant feed of information regarding their speed and distance. This POD will work for any outdoor sport that covers a distance, from running to cross country or downhill skiing, and back again. It attaches with a durable clip to your arm, belt, or bicycle and is truly the most versatile of Suunto's PODs. It's two batteries are user replaceable.
Suunto has also introduced a series of Training Packs that combine a POD with the most appropriate Suunto wrist top computer. The Multisport Pack combines the Suunto t3 training watch with the GPS POD, providing comprehensive heart rate monitoring while tracking speed and distance via GPS.
The GPS Pod is compatible with the Suunto t3, t4, and t6 wristop training computers.

Suunto GPS POD Reviews
Spotty Coverage
Comments from The Staff:
Thanks for your review. The GPS POD can take a few moments to lock on to satellites, as you have seen. If you plan on running through heavily wooded areas, urban areas with tall buildings, etc., give it a few moments more to lock on to as many satellites as possible, or use the Foot POD for these runs; ANY GPS may encounter tracking issues in these types of environments. Thanks again for your feedback.
